Third Entry

I really enjoy reading the cases. They make everything that is discussed in the book make sense. It’s easy to understand something especially when you are able to put words into meaning through examples.  Last class we discussed two cases, one that was unsuccessful with their campaign and one that was right on point with theirs.  They were two completely different situations but were also very similar in some ways.  Although they were different situations and circumstances, they were both about building relationships and trust within a community from an organizations stand point.

Blogging

I have never blogged before and still I do not really understand what blogging really is. To me if seems like it is just an online journal/diary for people who really like using computers. I am not really looking forward to blogging though. I think it is a little weird that everyone and anyone who would like to read what I write can.  I already believe that the Internet is not a safe place, and now with blogging it may becoming a little more dangerous. Its an experience though and I am ready to learn something new, something I would have never tried before.

Second Entry

I’m still not really sure what to write about or how to write this, but I guess I’m supposed to write about the class. I can’t lie, but I haven’t really read yet, so I don’t really understand what’s going on in class. I bought the main book on amazon and I still haven’t received it.  Luckily one of my roommates is in the class so I just started using her book. I read the case studies as well as the beginning of The Tipping Point. I have to say I really like The Tipping Point, it’s an easy read and very interesting. The cases that had to be read for today (2/4) are also very interesting.
